Mrs Wilson has 3 years of experience with a bachelors degree and is currently pursuing a masters degree.

Hobbies/Talents: I absolutely love science! I am also a big fan of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I am the Science Olympiad coach here at Holy Family. I am passionate about teaching and am a life long learner as a result of that passion. I worked in special education before coming to Holy Family, and due to that experience I incorporate many different activities and experiments into my class.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe a huge component in the classroom is respect. If you gain the respect of your students they will respect you. This means you as a educator getting to know your students is crucial . When you gain their respect in the classroom it makes teaching a lot easier. Classroom management will be less of an issue therefore allowing you to focus more on your lesson and figuring out what strategies you would like to use. My overall goal is to gain the respect of my students. So I can relate to them and pass on the knowledge they need to succeed not just in the classroom, but in life.
