Students in grades 5-8 interested in hands-on science experience are encouraged to participate in the Science Olympiad. Holy Family Regional School is a regular winner at the regional level and recently placed 4th in statewide competition.
Holy Family’s Math Team participates in all regional competition and recently placed 5th overall in a Madison County competition. This team continues to grow and mature and will no doubt flourish in the future. Mr. Roy is the sponsor and the club is open to students in grades 5th-8th with teacher recommendation.
Based on academic requirements, several 7th and 8th grade students are inducted into the Beta club annually. As a service project, Beta club members offer peer tutoring twice weekly throughout the year.
Knights Chess Club
Learn to think strategically in this special Chess Club program! Chess helps with critical thinking and students have a ton of fun. Limited spots avaliable for students in grades 1-4.
Little Genius Chess
For Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students to learn the basics of chess.
Holy Family sponsors a Mass choir which practices weekly and performs monthly at school liturgies as well as at local events such as Huntsville’s Santa’s Workshop, and Catholic Schools Week Mass.
If you like to make fun, creative projects, join the craft club! This club is for 5th-8th grade students. Various avtivities will be decided on by the students and include making crafts to sell at the annual Santa Workshop.
Junior Knights & Junior Daughters of Peter Claver
The Junior Knights and Junior Daughters membership is made up of Roman Catholic youth, ages 7-18 (grades 2-8). Our mission is to promote and enhance the spiritual and social wellbeing of all jumiors.
Cheer on your Holf Fanily Athletes and perform at requested events. If you've got spirit sign up for cheerleading!! Mrs. Leary and Mrs. Milton are the sponsors and it is open to 3rd-8th grade students.
Students will learn drama concepts, create props, and perform skits/plays. There will be a performance at the end of the year. Drama club is for 7th & 8th grade students with Mrs. Shaw and Mrs. Robinson as sponsors.
This club is for students in grades 3-5 with limited spots. Students will learn robotics Lego style and prepare for competitions. The sponsor for this club is Mr. Altman.
This is a student led club designed to share favorite passages and discuss meanings/perceptions among peers. This club meets during lunch on Wednesday and Father Joe will participate on occasion.
