1st Fri of each month: Tasty Treats for Teachers - Class parents will be contacting parents on what to bring for this day.  

Dec 4: Breakfast with Santa at HFS - 9 to 11 a.m. in the HFS Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 each. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, and milk/juice. The whole family is welcome. Santa will be there for pictures. Click HERE to download the reservation form or you may call the school office at 256-539-5221 to make your reservation and pay at the door. 

Dec 4 & 5: Santa’s Table - in St. Francis Hall. Join the St. Joseph's Joyful Workers for this one of a kind craft market, featuring items hand-crafted by St. Joseph’s parishioners. Times: Dec 4 from 12 -5 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Dec 5 from 9-11 a.m.

Dec 7-10: Santa Shop (during school hours) - HFS students will be able to purchase gifts for their loved ones! Most items will be $1.

Dec 4th, 6-10: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Please sign up to help us with our December events, click the links below to sign up.

Dec 13 to 17: Candy Cane Grams on sale - The grams will be delivered at the end of each day. Each gram will be $1.

Feb 26: Family Bingo Night - information will be forthcoming

May 6th 2022: Silent Auction - at HFS. Planning for this event starts in the Fall.  This is our biggest fundraiser every year and we need everyone to participate to make it a success.  Stay tuned for the theme, date, location, and ways you can help.

May 3 - 7: Teacher Appreciation Week- HFS parents will be asked by their room parents to bring items to show our teachers just how much we love them!

End of May: 8th Grade Graduation - 7th grade parents will host the reception for the 8th graders and their families.


Other Needs

  • Help Tuesday afternoons at 1pm to stuff and distribute the Family Folders
  • Help with manual labor and beautification like painting, trash clean up, spreading mulch, moving items, etc
  • Chaperone field trips (Necessary forms must be completed 2 wks prior) 
  • Selling items at masses at St. Joseph, St. Mary of the Visitation, or Our Lady Queen of the Universe Churches
